They’re available in any size you want - even double sink - and are custom-built with materials and colours you choose to match your aesthetics.

Freestanding Bathroom Vanities
For extra storage space and a more classic look, our custom-built freestanding bathroom vanities are the perfect choice. We build our freestanding vanities out of the materials of your choice; you can choose the materials for the body, the countertop, and the hardware. With colours, panels, inlays, and carvings customized to suit your style, our freestanding vanities can look as classic or contemporary as you’d like.
Modular Bathroom Vanities
All of our bathroom vanities are modular - they are custom-made, so each and every one of our clients gets to custom-design all of the different aspects of their vanity. Want more cabinets or drawers? We can help. Want open areas for easy access to commonly used items? We can help. Want bigger mirrors, more counterspace, or larger sinks? We can help. With True Millwork, the choice is always yours.

Solid Wood & Painted Bathroom Vanities
We’re called True Millwork for a reason - we craft incredible, custom wooden cabinets and vanities for homeowners like you. Our solid wood vanities can be made out of both domestic and exotic woods; tell us what inspires you, and we’ll find the perfect wood for your vanity. We can stain your vanity to let the natural woodgrain shine through while protecting it from moisture and heat. We can also paint your vanity to perfectly match the colours of your bathroom.

Key Considerations
To Make
Materials
Solid hardwoods are some of the best materials to use for the body of a vanity. We tend to prefer naturally moisture-resistant hardwoods, including teak, oak, birch, iroko, and cedar. All of these woods should be properly sealed to improve moisture-resistance; they’re also naturally beautiful, so you won’t want to paint over them in most cases.
Other materials, including plywood and medium-density fibreboard (MDF), can be used, but are less durable than solid wood; both are more prone to problems with moisture and warping.
When it comes to hardware, there are a plethora of options; we tend to like corrosion-resistant metallic hardware. Some modern bathroom vanities feature magnetic, push-to-open drawers and cabinets; these don’t require pulls, which means you don’t need to choose hardware. Perfect for modern bathrooms!

Size & Dimensions
A standard bathroom vanity can range anywhere from 24” to 72”. Double vanities are longer, of course, and some vanities are deeper; deeper vanities offer more storage space and more counterspace.
The first thing that dictates the size of a vanity is the size of your bathroom; a large vanity in a small bathroom can occupy too much space, cramping the room.
The second thing to consider is your daily routine. Do you just need to wash your face and do your hair by the vanity? A smaller one could do. Do you have two people who use the bathroom to get ready simultaneously? A double vanity might be the way to go. Do you need to store makeup products, skincare products, haircare products, towels, and more in your vanity? You’ll want to go big.
Countertop Options
We love quartz, granite, or engineered stone for bathroom countertops; they look incredible, they’re water-resistant, and they’re easy to clean. They’re also good at handling heat, and they have relatively high corrosion resistance, great if you spill skincare products onto your countertops.
Marble is a popular option for bathroom vanities, but it’s one you might want to consider avoiding; you have to seal marble very regularly, or it can get etched and scratched.

Vanity Design
The design of your vanity is completely up to you; you can go with a freestanding vanity that touches the floor for a timeless look, or a floating vanity with push-to-open cabinetry for a more modern aesthetic. No matter what you choose to create, our team is here to help you ensure that your vanity matches your needs and aesthetics.
